Plan On Attending The 2009 MAP Annual Awards Banquet
We
are drawing closer to the annual MAP Awards Banquet! This year, the banquet will
be held on Saturday January 24th, 2009 from 5:30pm-12am at the
Italian Heritage Center in Portland. The Italian Heritage Center is located at
40 Westland Ave. in Portland off of Outer Congress Street.
Opening
ceremonies will again be provided by the Maine Public Safety Pipe and Drum Corps
and after the awards program, entertainment will be provided by comedian Dennis
Fogg and Motor Booty Affair. The schedule for the Awards banquet is as follows;
5:30-6:30pm
Social Hour
6:30-7:30pm
Dinner
7:30-9:00pm
Awards Presentations
9:00-Close
Entertainment
MAP has secured room rates at the Comfort Inn Airport located at 90 Maine Mall Road in South Portland for $49.00 per night. The hotel is approximately 2.5 miles from the Italian Heritage Center and will be providing a shuttle available to and from the event until 1 AM. Members can book rooms directly by calling the hotel at 207-775-0409 and be sure to mention the Italian Heritage /MAP Awards Banquet to secure the negotiated rate.
Although
there is no cost to individual MAP members and their 1 guest to attend the
event, we require a headcount of those attending, as we are charged per plate.
Please do not sign up to attend unless you are committed to coming to the
banquet: If you are not sure, DON’T SIGN UP.

Banquet Page, so that all those interested can have the
opportunity to consider attending. The deadline for unit headcounts will be
MONDAY JANUARY 19TH.

NEW: Maine Mortgage Group will refund at closing the cost of any residential appraisal on a refinance or purchase within 90 days of the seminar for any attendees or MAP members. The offer is good from Sept 20th through Dec 20th. If any members inquire prior to the seminar we can do that as well.
